Event Planning for Programming Chairs

(Preparation + Organization + Action = Event Success)
This workshop will present you with the tools, tips, and formalities necessary to plan a successful event. This workshop is highly recommended for newly elected event/program coordinators or students who are assigned to plan events for their recognized student organization (RSO). Let us help you take your event to the next level! (45 minutes)

This workshop focuses on the wide range of activities and programs on and off campus, and the importance of getting involved at SDSU. (45 minutes)

Treasurer’s Workshop

Most student organizations can only go as far as their finances take them. As the primary manager of financial matters, a strong and knowledgeable treasurer is an invaluable asset to a student organization. This workshop will provide Recognized Student Organization (RSO) treasurers the information, tools and resources they need to help their organizations succeed. (1 hour)

Student Organization Work Space and Basement Storage Space Application 

Visit to complete the Work Space Application and/or Basement Storage Space Application. The deadline to submit the application with all supplemental materials is Monday, August 20th at 4:30pm.  Your organization must be RECOGNIZED in order to be awarded a work space and/or basement storage space. 


Student Organization Involvement Expos 

This year, in collaboration with many campus partners, Student Life & Leadership is offering three different involvement expos for student organizations. The Involvement Expo that best fits your organization will be based on the organization type, as listed on the Recognized Student Organization (RSO) Application. Applications are due by Monday, August 20 at 4:30pm. Student Organizations must have a SUBMITTED Recognized Student Organization (RSO) Application in order to be eligible to participate. Registration does not guarantee your organization a spot as space is limited. After completing the Student Organization Involvement Expo Registration Form, each organization will be contacted by Student Life & Leadership to confirm attendance.
