GreeksLead Workshops & Presentations

Overview

Greek chapters, councils and auxiliary groups are encouraged to request presentations which are facilitated by Greek Life staff unless otherwise indicated. Presentations are standard but can be specialized to meet the needs of your group if requested. Length of presentations vary and are indicated below.

Responsibilities of Requesting a Presentation Checklist

1. Strategically assess the needs of your group prior to selecting a presentation topic.

  • What topic have members not heard about before or lately?
  • What requirements are we trying to meet by having this presentation (if any)?
  • Who should be required/encourage to attend?
2. Request the presentation at least 2 weeks prior to the date of when
you would like the presentation.

  • What else will be going on during that week or day of the presentation?

3. Secure adequate space for the presentation to take place.

  • How many members will be present?
  • Does the presenter need access to technology?
  • Is the space suitable for this type of presentation?
4. Promote the presentation to your group.
